What It Is

A rich, barrier-repair moisturizer designed for dry to very dry skin. It's formulated for both face and body use.
Fragrance-free and developed with dermatologists.
Uses proprietary delivery technology (MVE Technology) to provide hydration over a long period (up to ~24 hours).

Here are the major active/supporting ingredients and what they do:

Ingredient	Purpose / Benefits
Ceramides (Ceramide NP, AP, EOP etc.)	These lipids are essential components of the skin barrier. They help restore and maintain the barrier which keeps moisture in and irritants out.
Hyaluronic Acid	A powerful humectant which pulls moisture into the skin and helps with hydration and plumpness.
Petrolatum	Acts as an occlusive to seal moisture in and protect against transepidermal water loss.
Dimethicone	A kind of silicone that helps with texture (making it smooth), also helps protect the skin by forming a light barrier while letting skin breathe.
Other emollients / emollient alcohols (Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, etc.)	These help soften the skin, reduce roughness, improve feel/texture of the cream.

Deep hydration: helps restore lost moisture and provides long-lasting hydration (24-hour expected for many users) due to its ingredients and delivery system.
Barrier repair: helps rebuild and maintain the skin’s protective barrier, which is especially helpful for dry, compromised, or sensitive skin.
Non-comedogenic: stated to not clog pores
Fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin.
Can be used on both face and body. Good for hands, elbows, knees, etc.

It’s fairly thick / rich — more substantial than a lotion, but formulated to feel non-greasy.
Absorbs over time; initially might feel heavy but most users say it becomes comfortable. Particularly good at night or in dry environments.
Because of petrolatum content, it has some occlusiveness (i.e. it forms a layer to seal in moisture) which helps with very dry or flaky skin.

Apply to clean skin, ideally after any hydrating serums / toners to lock in moisture. Face + body. Especially useful in dry patches.
Use as often as needed. For very dry skin, morning + night; in dry climates or if doing skincare treatments that dry out the skin, more frequently.
Because it’s rich, a small amount often goes a long way; warm between fingers and press in to avoid tugging.

Excellent for dry to very dry skin. People with flaky, rough skin, or those whose skin barrier feels compromised (tight, rough, peeling).
Also good for sensitive skin, because it’s free of fragrance and many irritating ingredients.
